Mines
Gems and mines are hidden under a grid of 25 tiles. Reveal gems to raise your multiplier, and cash out before you hit a mine.
How To Play
- Set your bet with − and +, halve or double it with ½ and 2x, type an amount, or pick one from the list. Bets range from $0.10 to $100.00.
- Choose how many mines to hide, from 1 to 24. More mines pay more for every gem.
- Press Play to place your bet and start the round.
- Select tiles one at a time, or press Random Tile. Each gem raises your multiplier.
- Press Cash Out at any time after your first gem to win your bet × the multiplier.
Winning
- Hit a mine and the round ends: you lose your bet.
- Find every gem and you cash out automatically.
- Multiplier under the grid is what a cash out pays now; Next Tile is what it will pay after one more gem.
Example: $2.00 with 3 mines. Two gems pay 1.27x, so cashing out wins $2.54.
Auto Play
- Before starting, select the tiles to reveal (or use Random Tile). Each round places your bet, reveals those tiles and cashes out if they're all gems.
- Choose how many rounds to play (5 to 1,000, or ∞) and a game speed: slow, medium or fast.
- Press Stop Auto at any time. Auto play also stops if your balance is lower than your bet.
Settings
- Round History shows your last 50 rounds. Select the details icon to see a round in full.
- Provably Fair shows the seeds every round's mines are placed from, so you can check that no mine was moved after you bet.
- Disable Animations shows results instantly.
- Space To Bet lets you press Space to play a round, and again to cash out.
Return To Player
The theoretical return to player (RTP) is 97.28% to 98.00%, depending on the number of mines and gems. Multipliers are shown to two decimal places.
Closing the game ends your session, including any round in play.
Malfunction voids all pays and plays.
Provably Fair
Every round's mines are placed using seeds that are fixed before you bet. The server shows you a hash of its seed up front and reveals the seed itself when you rotate, so you can check that no mine was moved after you played. The mines stay on the server until the round ends.
Active Seeds
Rotating reveals the server seed above, then uses the next one with your client seed. Seeds can't change during a round. Closing the game deletes its seeds, so reveal them before you leave.

How To Check A Round
- The SHA-256 hash of the revealed server seed must match the hash shown before you bet.
- Work out HMAC-SHA256, keyed with the server seed, of client seed:nonce:0, then of :1, :2 and so on if more numbers are needed. The nonce is the round's number with those seeds, starting at 0. Read the results 4 bytes at a time as big-endian numbers.
- List the tiles 0 to 24 in order (left to right, top to bottom). For each i from 24 down to 1, take the next number, skipping any at or above the largest multiple of i + 1 that's below 4,294,967,296. Its remainder when divided by i + 1 is j: swap the tiles at positions i and j.
- The first tiles of the shuffled list, as many as the round's mines, are where the mines were.
Each round's details show its seeds and nonce, and the game checks every round for you once its seed is revealed.
